Untold Millions Of Americans Appear Prosperous But Are Technically Bankrupt

The fact that millions of Americans are broke has little to do with the failed economy in many cases.  The national norm is to spend as much as you can and then as much as your credit cards will allow. When people get a raise, the majority of the time it helps to pay down some of the credit card debit so they can spend more or the excess is spent before it gets to a bank account to use as a payment.  The more we make the more we spend.  But it is true that the extent in which you save and handle money can be an indicator as to how serious people are or are not about their lives and their success.

If you take a good look around, a society that does not save or invest for the future does not believe that it has a future. So why not get it all now while we can.  Live for the day, eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we shall all die anyway.  Problem is we all do not die tomorrow so we wake up with the results and are severly in debt.  While in much of the industrial world, they are building up savings accounts, we in the United States are building up our credit card accounts.  Or at least till recently.  Many, many Americans have lost their credit and their accounts have gone belly up because without some sort of savings there was no resources for that rainy day. Sound familiar?

As a nation we need to get back to the fundamentals of handling money.  We must think of accumulating and managing our money as a process and not an event.  Sacrifice and saving are two essential elements for peace of mind and long term success. We must learn to implement delaying immediate gratification for greater tomorrow.  When you set aside a small protion of your income regularly the first thing that you realize is that you do not miss it.  The second thing is that people with money tend to attract more from other sources. With a little preparation, a large number of Americans could have avoided the downfall of the economy and been able to maintain their lifestyle until the nation got back on its feet again.

Some People Think That Success Is A Matter Of Luck Or Chance

People who complain about their life not changing are not really doing anything.  It is inherent that once you get involved with personal development You don't just stop.  It is a growing process.  There are tons of books, CD's, courses, articles and people available to those who are serious that anyone can learn, improve and grow from.  The more you learn the more you become a different person.  So when you meet people higher up the success ladder, you are not looking up to them as before, you are now more of an equal to them and their success.

When you continually feed yourself with new information and practice what you have learned, you can't help but become more successful and happier.  Learning happens in levels or pleateaus. At first you have a big swing or jump upward then you come back down and this is where you will plateau.  Then you will have another big jump upward and back down again in your learning process.  But each time you come back down the plateau is a little higher than the one before.  However it is on the plateaus that most people get discouraged, loose heart and quit.

The plateau is a normal part of the learning process.  This is where you have time stop digest and practice what you learned. It is here where you have to have the confidence that you are still moving forward toward the next information explosion.  Here is where you have to have faith that the seeds that have been planted are germinating and will soon break ground and grow.

Luck is not luck, it is probabilities unlike chance.  Most people confuse luck with chance.  But chance is like gambling and you have no control over what the outcome will be. Luck is probabilities which is something that you do have some control over.  If you set clear goals then your probabilities are much higher. If you learn more then your probabilities for success are much higher.  So luck is not really luck like some people think.  And it is not luck but what you do that will lead you to success.

An Awesome Event Learning That Wealth Can Be Empty Without Your Health

Yes, it is true that you can be quite wealthy however if your health is lacking or failing, chances are that you are not enjoying the wealth that you have created. 

I had the opportunity to be a part of Extreme Health, a Peak Potentials Training course last week and was amazed at what I learned about getting healthy, staying healthy and how to possibly or even probably avoid the aging process.  There were a variety of presenters and vendors to educate and allow you to experience the products that they had available to boost your health. Some of the speaker included Don Tolman, Dr Brian Alman, David Wolfe, John Gray and a variety of others that gave insight on diet and foods that increase your health.  

I was amazed at the different type of exercise that a person can do depending on their ability to get into shape as well.  Those speakers included David Hall, JJ Virgin and Thomas Tadlock who each brought insight to exercise and the benefits of different types to suit the individual.

 Mark Romero was one of our speakers who introduced the beauty of healing with music.  As he played he explained the benefits that music has in the healing process.  An outstanding completion for a long and information filled day. 

 Eve Michaels was also there but not as an image consultant but presented on anti-aging and the value of taking care of your skin.

T Harv Eker was present to introduce the inaugural Ultimate Internet Boot Camp for those wishing to create online businesses to create fun free time in their lives that would contribute to overall health.  A great reminder that without fun and enjoyment in your life what wealth do you really have.  So what does wealth really mean to you or is it just money. You choose but above all...take care of your health.

You Can Think Your Way to Becoming Rich and Successful

When setting your course to financial success, there is one thing that must take place in the beginning of your journey. The way you think about yourself, your lifestyle and the way you handle money and opportunity will be different if you want to change the way you are your life will look in the future. So what does this really mean, to think your way to becoming successful and rich?

The rich consider money a tool to use to gain leverage for increase. This means that money is not a bad thing to have and is not the cause of your frustration. Lack of money could create issues but money in itself is not bad, This is why the rich keep getting richer. They utilize what they have available and watch their finances grow. The moment you place negative energy in the equation is the moment you will begin to see negative results.

Keep an open mind about various opportunities that come your way. Just because someone else said it did not work for them does not mean it does not work. When something does come your way, do not consider it too good to be true. Do your research and learn what you can abut the opportunity before making any decisions. Educated decisions are always more profitable and without some kind of risk you can bet that the potential for growth could be limited.

Believe that you can succeed in whatever project or opportunity that you choose to become involved in. The rich are not any "better" you you think you are. They just believe they can and go for it. They don't say they will try it and give up if it doesn't give instant results. They understand the value of time and do the job. "What if" in not in their vocabulary not is "If Only". If there is not success in a reasonable length of time, the rich will ask what they need to change and do differently to create the result and success they are looking for.

When your thinking begins to take on these changes you can literally thing your way to becoming successful and rich. All of these aspects create a positive atmosphere for success to grow. Like a magnet, abundance will show up and your life along with the lives of your loved ones will change. The goals and dreams that you have will come to completion. When this happens, one at a time, the lifestyle you only thought was a myth becomes a reality with the freedom to choose.

Online Poker In Not Only For Entertainment But Many Make Sizeable Income Playing And Promoting

There seems to be an increasing number of people who are spending tremendous amounts of time on the internet these days.  Some are using the internet for marketing purposes and some are using it for fun and entertainment.

The onset of online poker in the past few years has not only provided a form of entertainment but is now providing an income in more that one way.  The economy seems to have kept many people in their homes and in front of their computers.  One avenue that people are enjoying online poker is on the ever popular Facebook.  There are applications on Facebook that allow you to play Texas Holdem without investing realtime money.  This is an excellent way to either learn how to play the game better or to sharpen your skills while enjoying the game itself.

I found two tools that I have learned are helpful in not only playing the game of poker but increasing the odds of winning.  This is particularly helpful when playing in a game or tournament that requires real time money.  One of the tools that has become popular is called a poker odds calculator. This tool allows you to get a better idea of the odds or chances of winning the hand you are playing.  If you are learning the game of poker, you can feel more confident during the actual play and are more willing to enjoy the game while you are in the newbie stages. 

The other tool that seems to be helpful is an ebook that gives you strategies to use while playing online Texas Holdem.  The best way to learn and even improve anything you do is by going in the footsteps of other successful people before you.  There is no guarentee that these will 100% work for you, but without direction even the best will get lost. 

Everyone wants to win! But along with anything comes responsiblility.  So no matter if you are a seasoned online poker player of just starting out, be responsible.  Many have gotten into difficulty by not taking the necessary precautions while playing any game that involves real time money.  But if you are going to play online poker, it is wise to get tools to teach you like anything else how to sharpen your skills and improve you odds of being successful as well as enjoy the journey.  The learning experience comes form repetition however, knowing specific successful stategies and have a winning attitude will create a desirable outcome. 

From Time To Time You Must Stop Just Dreaming And Start Living Those Dreams

Just recently I had the opportunity to visit New York City for the first time.  Since I was young I had always wanted to visit Times Square and the Statue of Liberty.  So off I went on the train from Secaucas New Jersey to the city.  Arriving at Penn Station, I stepped out onto the streets of New York at Madison Square Gardens on an adventure that I will not soon forget.  First stop the great Macy's store then onward to Times Square.  The funny thing about my travels were that I was in Times Square three times in the same day. 

      

 

   

My desires to see the Lady in the Harbor, the Statue of Liberty that represented my freedom took me to the Staton Island Ferry and a boat trip to Staten Island.  And yes, she was as beautiful as I envisioned her to be stand in all her glory, proud and strong.  I believe that many of us forget the blessing and honor of the freedom that we enjoy.  I also had the opportunty to see one of the memorials built to honor those that lost their lives in the 911 tragety. This is a structure that everyone should go to see when visiting New York City.

    This opportunity to visit places I have only dreamed of has allowed me to take a step back from my internet business and enjoy the fruits of my labor.  For success to be truely what it is, everyone who is building a business into a new lifestyle and reaching for higher levels must take time to smell the roses.  Otherwise what good is the wealth that is created if not to enjoy the beauty of the freedom that comes with financial freedom.  Part of that beauty is to share with others what can be if you just put your heart and mind to creating it. 

Now that Thanksgiving has passed let us not forget the freedoms that we enjoy and the ability to build amazing stories of success.  Yet it is imperative to  continue to express our gratitude and appreciation to those who have contributed to realization of our own dreams so that we as entrepreneurs can helps others find and live theirs. 

There are still things that I wish to do in New York City but like everything else, you have to start somewhere and then keep on taking steps forward.  A Broadway Show, Chinatown, a walk in Central Park or even a buggy ride are among the things I would like to experience on my next visit.  The important thing is that there will be a next visit.  What are you doing to make your dreams a reality by living them instead of just allow them to remain dreams?

Who You Spend Time With Impacts Who You Become

This weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time with a truely amazing individual and his students to celebrate their successes.  The place was the Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada and this person was billionaire, Bill Bartmann. Bill's whole family was there to share in the celebration and share some of their experiences on their journey to success during a unique question and answer time. 

Bill then some time share new information about what was happening within the banking and government structures and how it may effect his students and their continuing projects in the department of buying bad debt.  Many of the student from Peak Potentials Training have gone on to further their education in build their financial so it was great to see them as they create new ways to build on their success. You can find information about the programs offered and tools available The Bartmann Bussiness Institute where you will learn and develop the same methods that Bill used to create his wealth.  The great part about this experience is to see the reality of what can be and yet experience the humbleness of a man and his family that started from nothing, won in the money game, lost it all and went on to rebuild the life and wealth that once was. 

Bill provided a nice dinner and entertainment as well as a photo opt time that everyone could have a professionally done photo sent to them as his gift.  What was nice is that the atmosphere was somewhat and inviting as the students socialized while they enjoyed pastries and refreshment in the morning on both Saturday and Sunday. 

The important concept to remember whenever you choose the company that you keep is that who that person is, their energy and all they stand for does impact you and your progress forward in life.  Once you leave that presence, you must maintain that level of awareness and that caliper of socialization to step up to the next level of success and the lifestyle that you are developing. How you act, the way you dress and the company you keep are all indicators of your level of success. 

Your Comfort Zone Is What Is Holding You Back From Your Success

Troubled times will help determine whether someone is in committed to being successful or not.  When the going is good and things seem to be going your way it is easy to get settled into a comfort zone.  This happens alot when a person has an hours for dollars job that pays the bills with a little extra cash for fun.  But what happens when the chips fall, a job is lost or business just isn't what it use to be? 

For the average American, the comfort zone is a dangerous place to be.  Sometimes it takes an attitude adjustment to realize that life and lifestyle will not improve until a person gets a little uncomfortable and less convenient to make things happen.  They really do expect things to just happen so the commitment level is not very high.  These people become followers and not leaders.  They have set goals too low or not at all because they got comfortable in the manner in which they were living. 

Financial freedom is determined by the extent that a person is willing to become uncomfortable and do things that take them out of their comfor zone.  When the chips fall the average American instead of jumping up and finding a new way to make it happen, they throw in the towel.  They blame everything but themselves for the lack of determination to create a new plan, go a new direction, dream a new dream.

Successful people know how to change with the times.  They don't get stuck in a rut and always doing the same thing over and over, year after year.  If you truely want to be successful you must constantly evaluate and make adjustments to improve and move forward.  So when new opportunites come your way you will not shrink back which keeps you from moving to the next level.  The good old days are gone and it is time for the good new days.  Stretch yourself and be willing to take on a little risk.  Dream a new dream.  If you do not have a dream then you are not really living you are just existing. 

Money Alone Does Not Make You Wealthy

Contrary to popular belief, it is not just money that make you wealthy.  Wealth comes in many forms and money is only one piece of the puzzle.  Yes, it is true that a lot of money will give you the freedom to do what you want, go where you want to go, and have what is your hearts desire. But the question is....how long will that last if you do not have income producing assets that will keep[ you there when you choose not to work?

Successful individuals are not just rich, they are wealthy.  They know that when you continue spending your money without income streams to support their lifestyle, the lifestyle will eventually diminish.  It is not only important to know how to make money, it is more important to learn how to invest a portion into income producing streams that are passive or in other words working when you are not. Most people just try to earn enough to go from day to day but the wealthy are always looking for an other income vehicle to insure their wealth portfolio has continueal increase. 

Wealthy individuals are also humanitarians in most cases.  They have charitible organiztions and/or individuals they contribute to in order to enhance the quality of life.  They care about the people who work in their organizations and provide opportunities for those people to improve their own lives.   

Women especially do not realize the importance of having their own assets.  So when divorce, death or even the loss of a job, they find themselves with little to no means of support.  It is not going against the male influence in their lives to make sure the future is not a black hole they and their children can fall into at those types of unopportune times.  

Have you looked at your assets lately?  Maybe you do not have any. Now is a great time to look into some kind of investment, whether it is large or just a small one.  You never know when turbulent times such as the ones we are experiencing now, will send you into devastation because you did not put away a few golden eggs for the future.

There's More To Wealth Than Money

It's Mothers Day and I realized that when people think of wealth they usully only think of money.  But we have so much more wealth in our lives than just money.  Family is one of the biggest and most important forms of wealth that a person can possess.  Friends are a very close second.  I have three girls and my Mom is still enjoying life as well.  I also have 5 grandkids and one of which is a mother of my first great grandson.  How much more blessed with wealth can I be?

 

With five genrations on the left and my latest grandson above and three more of my grandkids below, I would say I have a life full of wealth far beyond what money can buy.  All of them are successful and growing as individuals.

I have set my intention for the coming years to spend as much time as possible with them and enjoy the beuty and the joy I have with my family.  Don't pass up the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those that mean the most to you.  "If you have a rose to give, give it today.  Tomorrow may be too late."
