Is There Such A Thing As Being Too Honest?

I was working on an event a while back and was having difficulty confirming some figures when I was told that I was being too honest.  Being accurate and above board is a value that all people should have but apparently this in not the case as I am being told.  I did not know that here was such a thing as being too honest. 

I guess that the opposite is not being honest enough.   Maybe not disclosing certain facts, details, or feelings is not being honest enough.  Or is there such a thing as not being honest enough?  I was unaware that there were supposed to be varying degrees of honesty.  Any more than I am aware that there are varying degrees of integity.  What I do believe is that honesty and integrity go hand in hand.

How can someone stand in integrity if they are not honest and can tell the truth?  What I do know is that the truth will set you free.  And another very important virtue that goes immediately with honesty and integrity is accountability.  If you are to be trusted in the wold of success you must be honest enough to stand in your integrity and be accountable.  These are the principles of a leader.

All in all I did inform those that I was accountable to about the discrepancies that I was encountering so that they may find the issues on the backside when they received all of the information.  In that I did feel that I had done my job well.  And those that entrusted me with the task could trust me to be truthful and hold strong to my own integrity.  In the world of success these are truely attributes for every leader.

What Does Personal Development Really Mean?

In the area of personal development many of us get discouraged. We are searching for answers and direction to obtain the changes we desire to make our lives happier. How can you be the best you that you can be? When we talk about Personal Development several things come to mind. For some this can mean many different things. For instances some:

o To get a better job

o Make improvements in a relationship

o Learn how to set and keep goals.

o Learn how to manage their time and be efficient

o Change their physical appearance

o Create a better financial platform

And the list can go on. Regardless of the reason most of us are looking for ways to improve our lives and be happier. However most of us don't get what we want because we don't know exactly what it is that we want. Most of us fail because we never begin. Most of us need to change the way we see ourselves. Some of us just need a little boost of confidence.

A good self image is a constant and continuous journey. All of us have quality personal assets. We are just unsure of what they are so they need to be discovered. Some of them us are unaware of how to use them. There are countless ways to achieve the discovery of those qualities.

Listening to audio messages, sometimes several times, is helpful and can prove to be quite educational. If you do not reinforce the information you receive, the chances are likely that you will not act upon it. Remember intending to do something does not mean it will ever get done. We must actively participate in the process of developing those qualities we have.

Another thing that can be done is to read books. There are a large number of books on the market for self help and self improvement. Personal development involves self growth as well. You Exterior Appearance Affects You Success Performance

Who said it was too late to change your look?  There is an old saying that as you get older, looking your best is not as important.  Or that after a certain age it is too late to get started on making your appearance more appealing.  This is simply not true.  Age has nothing to do with the ability to make your self the best that you can be.  It is never too late to make a better impression or create a new image. Or to be the you that you might have been.  This includes men as well.  If you seem to be down in the dumps, maybe a little image pick me up will lift your spiritss, put a smile upon your face and some spring in your step.  That's called raising your confidence level.

This also reflects on the way your perform on your road to success. Your lifestyle can be judged by the way you present yourself.  Eventually any insecurity in your appearance literally will flow through even online.  Whenyour sights are set on being an internet success, some wher along the line you will have to start meeting people.  And to grow your business you will become some kind of teacher, presenter, trainer if even on video.

When You Are Confident And Relaxed You Portray High Self Esteem

When you observe someone it can be obvious by the way this person carrys him/herself what kind of self esteem this person has.  When a person carrys him/herself with confidence and relaxed you can be assured that they are not at war within or hiding something.  Figetting and nervousnes, on the other hand, can give the impression of an internal struggle or self denial. 

The voice can also be an indicator of a person's level of self esteem.  A person with a high self esteem has no problem taking responsiblity for what they say.  They speak clearly and not loudly, yet easily heard.  People will generally respond to the total of what a person presents.  A person with high self esteem will generally have alert eyes, a relaxed face, a chin that is alignment with the body, relaxed shoulders, relaxed hands, arms that are relaxed and natural, erect posture and walks with a purpose.  This list is by no means exhaustive however in most cases a person displaying high self esteem will have mose if not all of these traits.  When you evaluate your own self esteem, it is wise to look at these charateristics and see if maybe there could be some improvement in your first impression and self image.

Your Self Image Is a Powerful Business Tool

Most people have no idea what self image is and how powerful it can be to help you or make you absolutely miserable.

Your self image is the ID you carry with you everywhere you go, at all times of the day or night. It is all the beliefs you have about yourself, money and the world around you. Your self image also sets the limits to what you believe you can or cannot be or do, what you can or cannot achieve, what you can or you cannot have.

You will never be able to progress beyond the level permitted by your own self image.
Do you sincerely believe you have that winning self image to be a money magnet, a great money maker, make money fast, get rich and be a millionaire? Your self image is where everything starts and finishes. It is absolutely essential that you know exactly what your self image is and learn the proper ways to make the necessary changes to have that powerful, winning self image of the millionaires, multimillionaires and billionaires.

Without that winning self image, you will have a tendency to fail in everything you do, no matter what type of business you choose, no matter how smart you think you may be. Giving up will be the norm instead of the exception to the rule.

You must always begin with your self image if you want to be truly successful.  This is where the rubber meets the road of success and happiness. when the rubber is on the road, you will be amazed at how fast your vehicle will move and how precise the direction will be.
