Do What The Rich Do, Sell What The Rich Sell

If you look around at the people who have not only survived the economic crunch but have increased, you will notice a specific difference in the way they succeed.  And anyone who has done personal and business development have learned that it all begins with how you think.  Rich and successful people have a different way of looking at a project and what they need to do to make it happen.  The overnight success was probably someone who has several years in the making. 

The principles of success have been taught for many years going back to when Nepolean Hill wrote Think and Grow Rich.  But even a large number of people continue to elude success for a variety of reason.  One of those reason is because they read but they do not apply the Secrets within the words of that book and others like The DNA of Success written by Zufelt. All success is based upon the application of the principles that work and change the ordinary thinking of the mediocre or average person. 

Most people want what the rich have but are unwilling to do what the rich do to get it.  so they resort to complaining and finding reasons why they presumably do not want the nicer, finer things in life.  Then they settle back into the same old routine.  Does this describe you?  If it is, my suggestion is to pick up those books and read them again except this time with a highlighter.  Get yourself a journal and make it a point to make entries everyday. Until you not only see a change in your thinking and success but you feel inside on a deeper level.  Use your tools over and over til you have gone from a foundation to building a skyscraper.  And find out what the rich are selling because I can guarantee they are selling something.  And most of the time it is the very information and products you are buying.  And they are not whining or avoiding to continue educating themselves to remain on the top of their game and living the lifestyloe htey have created.  The question is why should you.  You are your best investment!  If you want the kind of success that the rich enjoy, do what they do and you will.

Partner or No Partner, A Signed Agreement Says It All

Internet marketing has grown enormously in the past few years but has taken an amazing jump since the economy began to falter in the past two years.  Along with that growth became increasing risk when it cam to working with and/or for someone doing any kind of marketing or web development.  What has been increasing as well is that there are instances when work is being done but the appropriate reimbusment is not taking place.  Is one of these people you?

Well, one of them happened to be me in the past few months and I mistook someone's word for trust and ended up getting burned. The reward was a lesson well learned but the risk was not getting paid to do the business development because of one simple flaw.... a signed agreement.  I had created a logo, uploaded a website, developed a new autoresponder and campaign, created business card and flyers and maintaining the Twitter account before getting my signed business agreement.  And yes you guessed it....I not only did not get paid to do these things, I was told I was out of luck because I was not covering my partners back. Go Figure. 

Fortunately, I was able to get the website down, remove the Twitter account and withheld the card templates.  So my recommendation is to either prebill and get paid prior to even starting to engage in internet work or get a signed document before releasing and work created to market for someone else.  It is easy to be left high and dry without documentation.  But you will also learn the character of the individual in the process. 

The internet is an outstanding interim to do business and meet new people.  But it also,without proper presentation can be a place where others are being taken advantage of and not realize it until it is too late to correct the situation.  So especially if you are a Newbie in the world of internet marketing, be aware that the vastness of the internet can not only make you successful, it can also swallow you up as well.  Pay attenteion to the people you are dealing with and their manner of dealing with certain issues.  Their actions will speak much louder than their words and their character will emerge and you will see what principles they do or do not value.  But most of all, be aware that succesful people in any business do not work for free, that is why they are successful.

You Must Change Your Mindset To Take Your Success And Wealth To The Next Level

Contrary to what a large number of people believe, marketing is not rocket science. Marketing does require consistancy and systems in place to be effective.  This is where a change of mindset probably needs to take place when setting and reaching goals for a new lifestyle.  Because marketing is not just a minor part of building a business, it is just as important as what it is that you do or promote. There are tons of people looking for what you have to offer.

Now that the economy has taken a nose dive, there are people left without jobs that are looking for a different form of income.  But there is a difference in the mindset of those who are seeking to build business especially online.  Some people are only looking for opportunity and some are ready to become entrepreneurs.

In his blog post Entrepreneurial Versus Opportunistic Thinking  Greg Martin talks about the difference between being an entreperneur and an opportunity seeker. He says that opportunity seekers only jump busines system to business system only to give up when things do not work out the way they want, when they want.  The entreperneur on the other hand, think long term and do not give up at the first turn. They understand that newlifestyles are created with persistance and even hard work.

So it is important to understand just where your thought pattern is leading you.  Are you looking for a get rich plan or are you willing to invest the time and the effort to create a solid foundation in which to build your life.  Having a do whatever it takes attitude will get you where you want to go.  so keep in mind that it took alot of years and work for the overnight success to appear. 

If You Are Writing As An Expert, You Should Be Setting A Good Example

There are a lot of people who are writing out on the internet and marketing thousands of products.  Many of them are still trying to establish their niche online.  And what is taught by the experts in writing and marketing is to become an expect in the niche that you choose.  Unfortunately not everyone is following this advice and you will find many who are writing about things on the internet that they are not only not experts but are not even good representatives or examples or what they are marketing.

With affiliate marketing being an excellent way to create an online income people are writing about areas of expertise they they have only briefly read about such as dog training.  Just because you own a dog and read the ebook that you are promoting does not make you an expert in dog training.  On another hand if you are promoting a weight loss product and have been promoting it for some time but have not changed and are over weight you are not really an expert.  You can not event say it works and you are endorsing it by writing and promoting such product, program or written material.

So if you are a beginner in internet marketing, be aware of how you present yourself and what kind of example you are setting.  Marketing affiliate products are an terrific way to create online income for both the author and the marketer.  But when writing about these products and services, make sure you that you write appropriately as to establish your presence and credibility to your readers.  It is great to try a niche and sometimes several before specializing in one or even two.  Once you make the decision, make sure you are representing yourself and the success of that which you are promotely effectively, efficiently and with truth.  When you make statements in your writing or even how you run your business, don't say that you do something and it is not really you that is in factually doing it.  If you are paying someone to do certain things, state it, don't take the credit publicly when actually the credit belongs elsewhere. 

Be the example you want others to be when you read their material and purchase their products and you will build a lucrative online business in the long run.

Your Comfort Zone Is What Is Holding You Back From Your Success

Troubled times will help determine whether someone is in committed to being successful or not.  When the going is good and things seem to be going your way it is easy to get settled into a comfort zone.  This happens alot when a person has an hours for dollars job that pays the bills with a little extra cash for fun.  But what happens when the chips fall, a job is lost or business just isn't what it use to be? 

For the average American, the comfort zone is a dangerous place to be.  Sometimes it takes an attitude adjustment to realize that life and lifestyle will not improve until a person gets a little uncomfortable and less convenient to make things happen.  They really do expect things to just happen so the commitment level is not very high.  These people become followers and not leaders.  They have set goals too low or not at all because they got comfortable in the manner in which they were living. 

Financial freedom is determined by the extent that a person is willing to become uncomfortable and do things that take them out of their comfor zone.  When the chips fall the average American instead of jumping up and finding a new way to make it happen, they throw in the towel.  They blame everything but themselves for the lack of determination to create a new plan, go a new direction, dream a new dream.

Successful people know how to change with the times.  They don't get stuck in a rut and always doing the same thing over and over, year after year.  If you truely want to be successful you must constantly evaluate and make adjustments to improve and move forward.  So when new opportunites come your way you will not shrink back which keeps you from moving to the next level.  The good old days are gone and it is time for the good new days.  Stretch yourself and be willing to take on a little risk.  Dream a new dream.  If you do not have a dream then you are not really living you are just existing.

Autoresponders Are An Amazing Time Management Tool

When I first started on the internet, I thought that I had to personally write every email that went out to my subscribers and send it directly from my email address.  As I grew, I learned that not only was that taking up a tremendeous amount of time but there was a better way of send correspondence and staying in touch with those tht had subscribed.

Someone I know recommended The Incredible Shopping Cart for the products I was developing.  But not only did it have a shopping cart but it had and autoresponder feature as well.  With the autoresponder I learned how to place an opt in box on my website and my blogs for readers to subscribe and this website placed them in the lists I chose and sent out thank yous automatically as well.  This way I could set up several sequences of email to send to my readers with tips and promotions from others that I recommended.  I later started two newsletters that I send out automatically as well, which saves me tons of time.

Twitter has become quite the place to connect on the internet, whether it is for personal or business use or both.  This social networking website is similar to blogging however it is call micro blogging.  What this means is that instead of writing one or two paragraphs, a tweet is just 140 characters to say what you want to say. Principles That Will Keep You Focused During Challenging Times

There is no real secret to building any business when you start with a foundation of principles.  Especially when there are challenging issues that could distract you along the way to success. 

 

Be careful what you promise.  It is easy to say alot of things and make alot of promises.  People are impressed when they hear all the thing you will accompplish for them or deliver to them.  The situation tends to arise that you can either make too many promises that do not make you real or what yu promise you may not be able to deliver in the time frame alloted.

 

Do everything you promise.  Whatever it is that you do promise, make sure that you do it and do it well. One of the worse things you can do for your business is to over promise and under deliver.  Worse yet is to deliver sub quality product or performance.

 

Do something extra than what you promise. This is key to developing return visitors to your business.  When you not only make a promise, deliver your promise with quality and go that extra step to make your consumer happy, you have a first class business and reputation. 

 

Have a positive outlook on life.  Be unshakable in the belief that you have in your own abilities.  You will find when you have this attitude, there is nothing that will get in the way of you suuccess and a lifestyle that you choose to live.

 

There Are Four Questions To Ask When Starting A Blog

Blogs are started by the dozens everyday and many new bloggers end up loosing interest or get discouraged at time goes on.  it is important to ask yourself these five questions when deciding to launch a new blog on the internet.

First question that needs to be asked is why are your starting a blog?  Is it for perdonal reasons and fun or are you want to start an online business that will be linked to this bolgs.

Next comes the focus or the niche for your blog.  What will you write about? It is best to choose a topic and not try to write about several topics that are not related.  Your reader may not share your variety of interests and stop come to your site.   

Are you very familiar with the world of blogging?  If not you will want to check out a lot of blogs that are in the area of your topic to get an idea of what is offered and how these blogs are set up.  Choose styles and that attract your attention and build your blog with those in mind.

And will you be offering and following cutting edge technology and information?  Being up to date will help you to leverage your blogsite in the search engines and with the interest of your readers.

After gathering some information you should be read toset your new blog up and enter the world of the internet.  It will be important in the beginning to post to your blog often so that it will be seen sooner and become familiar to those looking for your information.
