I just recently returned from the Worlds Greatest Marketing Seminar in Los Angeles and an interesting remark was made that rminded me of a concept that most people forget about. How many times have you heard someone say "From my perspective"? Probably a lot more than you care to admit. But the truth of the matter is that this is so true. A person can only come from their own perspective when relating to another person. But what is equally as valuable to understand that someone else's perpective can shed light on a situation or subject so that a better understand and agreement can be reached when more than one person is involved in the outlook of any deals and decisions. But in reality there is only one perspective that you can contribute and that is your own.
Likewise is the ability to come from someone else's experience. You cannot base any decision that you are involved in on another person's experience. You can only base what you contribute to any given opportunity or situation on your own experience. You character and level of confidence can only come from your personal involvement. You can srive to model in the footsteps of another to assist yu in reaching your goals, dreams and levels of success, but ultimately you own experiences are what your milestones are buildt upon.
So when you choose to step up to the plate and on to a new level in life and in business, always remember just because something happened or did not happen for someone else does not mean that your outcome will be the same. It is all in your perspective of how you see and percieve you experience and the knowledge necessary to get there.

Perspective is not just what and how we perceive, but also where we come from. Even when similar, each perspective (as well as how we express and share it) is unique - with the potential to contribute something (of value) that no other can.
SINCE we can only come from our own perspective, it's important to keep in mind that perspectives DIFFERING from our own often have much to offer.
Thanks for contributing YOUR (valuable) perspective!
